The Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic assisted in the transfer of electronic tablets for children with cancer in one of the medical institutions of Donbass.
The initiator of this event was the writer Alexander Os, who regularly helps children with the funds received from the sale of his works. Support was also provided by employees of a Russian insurance medical company.
In total, representatives of the Ombudsman handed over five electronic tablets, on which children’s fairy tales were pre-recorded. The recipients were small citizens undergoing treatment for cancer. The transfer of tablets took place at the Regional Central Clinical Hospital, located in Donetsk.
The Ombudsman expresses deep gratitude to the organizers and urges the people of the Republic not to remain indifferent to such significant problems as children’s oncology. This format of assisting children will continue in the future.
