Between 20 and 26 July 2019, the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic received four appeals on arrest. Men born in 1988 and 1978 were detained by the Security Service of Ukraine in April 2019, a man born in 1959 was detained in June 2019, and a man born in 1985 was detained in July 2019.
Based on the updated figures, the Ukrainian side now holds 253 persons in their custody, while the presence of 101 of them has been confirmed.
Last week, no appeals on missing persons were received. As of 26 July 2019, there were 461 persons in the list of the missing.
