The accords achieved tomorrow, October 27, in Minsk talks will facilitate the exchange of POWs to be performed as soon as possible, the DPR Ombudsman Daria Morozova told Donetsk News Agency today.
“We hope that we manage to come to agreement on the earliest exchange of POWs at the next meeting in Minsk (October 27 – DAN note). Our stance remains unchanged – no categories,” said Daria Morozova.
Aside from the exchange of prisoners, negotiators will discuss the issue of returning documents to DPR supporters released from Ukrainian captivity and the search for missing persons.
According to Morozova, special attention will be devoted to persecution by Ukrainian special services against residents of Kiev-controlled areas of Donbass, who participated in humanitarian program. The negotiators will also address the issue of defending the rights of Daria Mastikasheva, three-time taekwondo champion in Ukraine, who was arrested by Security Service of Ukraine on charges of treason.
It should be added that the following round of negotiations on peaceful settlement in Donbass will take place tomorrow, October 27, in Minsk. All four specialized subgroups will meet tomorrow, as well as the Contact Group.
