Daria Morozova condemns Ukrainian killer doctor for underperformance and calls for criminal prosecution

Ahead of the Medical Worker’s Day, anaesthetist Alexander Chernov gave an interview to one of the Ukrainian television channels. His words caused a stir in society. A former doctor from Yenakievo described in detail how he did everything to do maximum harm to the health of the militiamen. In this regard, the DPR Ombudsman Daria Morozova expressed her concern over the situation around the killer doctor and his intentional actions, and also condemned him for the intentional killing of patients and called on the Ukrainian side to bring him to criminal responsibility.

“In this interview, he himself admitted everything, I remind this doctor that there is criminal liability for intentional murder, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, negligence in the performance of duty, Article 140 of the same code, and his actions clearly represent a criminal offence. I would like to warn those who are enthusiastic about the actions of this “specialist” and those who want to repeat his actions: by taking the oath of a doctor, he/she does not sign any legal instruments, but getting a medical diploma and medical practice imposes not only moral but also certain professional obligations, based on the norms of the Criminal Code. It’s not easy to get away with them. I urge the Ukrainian side to consider bringing Alexander Chernov to criminal responsibility by checking the facts claimed by him during his public speeches,” said the Human Rights Ombudsman in the DPR Daria Morozova.
