On May 31, the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic, Daria Morozova, presented certificates and gifts to the winners of the children’s art competition “My Right to Childhood” dedicated to the International Children’s Day.

Children aged 5 to 12 years old, who live in temporary accommodation centres of the Donetsk People’s Republic, took part in the competition. The Human Rights Ombudsman’s Office received children’s drawings and chose three winners.

Daria Morozova congratulated the winners and other participants of the competition. Each of them received stationery sets. The children sincerely thanked the Ombudsman for the opportunity to show their creative abilities, for the constant care and support, as well as for the joyful atmosphere created on the eve of International Children’s Day.

“I wish you good health, peaceful skies, happiness and success. I wish you to be happy and always stay positive. And we will do our utmost to ensure that your right to childhood is under protection!” said Daria Morozova to the children.
