DARIA MOROZOVA ON PARTICIPATION IN ALL-RUSSIAN COORDINATING COUNCIL OF COMMISSIONERS FOR HUMANN RIGHTS

Daria Morozova Events News

The All-Russian Coordinating Council of Commissioners for Human Rights, which work started today in Moscow, is dedicated to the issue of ensuring the rights of citizens in the field of migration. In the context of the new military-political realities, this topic has become extremely acute both for Donbass and for the entire Russian Federation.

Since 2014, the DPR Human Rights Institute has been closely involved in organizing comprehensive assistance to internally displaced persons. We have gained experience in assisting both injured citizens permanently residing in the Republic, and persons leaving for evacuation to other regions and states.

I expressed gratitude to colleagues from other regions of Russian for the assistance to our compatriots within the Coordinating Council. Also, I described how the work with evacuated citizens on the territory of the DPR was organized.

I’d like to note that as a result of the event, an agreed strategy of actions in the human rights sphere will be developed, as well as recommendations will be prepared for the authorities on migration policy.
