We have good news. Another 15 defenders of the DPR, released from Ukrainian captivity, returned home and, after a long separation, saw their families. These are the fighters from those who were released on Thursday as a result of the exchange between Russia and Ukraine according to the ‘107 for 107’ formula. The guys were called to the front during mobilization. Today I met them together with the Acting Head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
It should be noted that some of the exchanged servicemen of the DPR People’s Militia still remain on the territory of one of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. They can be transported to the DPR only after treatment.
In general, almost everyone in this group of released people has health problems. We are talking about injuries received as a result of severe beatings in captivity, complications from bullet and shrapnel wounds. These injuries require adequate medical care, and it will be provided to men in full.
Now the servicemen who have arrived in the DPR have been sent to one of the healthcare institutions of the Republic, where they will receive treatment and undergo rehabilitation.
I thank the guys for their courage, loyalty to the Motherland and wish them a speedy recovery!
