I made proposals on measures to support citizens evacuated from combat zones within the framework of participation in the All-Russian Coordinating Council of Commissioners for Human Rights. In particular, questions were raised about the need to provide psychological support to citizens in temporary accommodation centres, develop measures to provide targeted medical assistance to internally displaced persons, as well as the possibility of providing housing certificates to residents of the DPR and LPR according to the algorithms that operate in the Kherson region.
I express my sincere gratitude to the Ombudsman of the Russian Federation Tatyana Moskalkova, who supported the voiced proposals. On her recommendation, they will be taken into account when developing proposals for amending the Concept on State Migration Policy until 2025.
This once again confirms the importance of joint work and consolidation of efforts of representatives of the Russian human rights community in issues of ensuring the protection of the rights of citizens on migration.
