On 25 May, in the programme “Glavnoe za nedelyu” (Weekly digest) aired on Oplot TV channel, the Human Rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR representative in the Humanitarian Subgroup of the Contact Group on peaceful settlement in Donbass Daria Morozova told about the number of persons detained by the Ukrainian side for supporting the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“Now we demand the release of 252 persons held in Ukraine, including 98 persons whose whereabouts have been confirmed by the Ukrainian side,” said Morozova.
She added that the latest exchange took place 1.5 years ago, despite the second stage of the exchange was expected immediately after the first one.
