Daria Morozova congratulates children on the International Children’s Day

Yesterday, 1 June, on the International Children’s Day, Human rights Ombudsman in the Donetsk People’s Republic visited State Educational Institution “Shakhtyorsk Sanatorium Boarding School No. 15”, where children with neurological disorders undergo rehabilitation, and organized a party for them.

Also, the event was attended by staff of the Ombudsman Office, volunteer psychologists and teachers of the boarding school.

As part of the visit, Daria Morozova congratulated the students. “On this bright day, I wish you happiness, peace, health and achievements in your studies. And have a good rest this summer, get ready for the next school year. I wish you bright and cheerful summer holidays,” said the Ombudsman.

Also, an entertaining programme was organized for the children. Accompanied by music, boys and girls participated in various competitions, their logical thinking was tested through a joyful quiz.

For their part, children told the guests about their hobbies, achievements in studying, shared their dreams and plans for the future.

During the visit, Daria Morozova had a talk with staff of the educational facility, thanked them for their warmth and care for children: “And special thanks to employees of the boarding school. You share one life with your pupils, you take care of them, you share your knowledge with them. Thank you for everything you do for the children.”

At the end of the event, children received stuffed toys and arts & crafts sets.
