DPR Ombudsman Daria Morozova commented on a Decree of the DPR Head “On the implementation of measures to restore municipal housing for certain categories of citizens affected by hostilities” in the interview to a correspondent of the official website of the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“This is only the first step, but we were looking forward to it. I talk very often to our displaced persons, people who find themselves in a difficult life situation, and I think that first of all we need to legislate their status. The Ombudsman Office has already submitted the draft law “On internally displaced persons” and I hope that very soon it will be reviewed and become legally effective”.
We remind that on 25 December the DPR Head Denis Pushilin signed a Decree No.152 “On the implementation of measures to restore municipal housing for certain categories of citizens affected by hostilities”.
The document determines the following categories of beneficiaries of municipal housing:
– families of the killed (deceased) servicemen;
– families of servicemen who do not have housing in the DPR;
– persons whose homes have been partially or fully destroyed by hostilities in the DPR.
– displaced persons who do not have housing in the DPR;
