Condolences from Daria Morozova on 6th anniversary of tragedy in Odessa

News

Six years have passed since the tragic events that took place in the Odessa House of Trade Unions on 2 May 2014. However, mental pain and sorrow do not leave us to this day. 46 people are no longer in this world… We also remember dozens of wounded and traumatized people who were severely beaten and thrown back into the fire. All this was accompanied by subsequent illegal detentions and persecutions for their views and beliefs. These events led to broken lives and wounds that will not heal until the perpetrators will be punished and the victims will be fully rehabilitated.

On this day, I express my sincere and deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims. This tragedy is an incalculable loss for all of us. Donbas grieves and remembers, because it knows firsthand what the pain of loss is. Our thoughts and prayers on this day are one with Odessa.

Nobody is forgotten and nothing is forgotten.
