Comment of Daria Morozova following Minsk talks

Comments and statements of the Ombudsman News

During the meeting of the humanitarian subgroup in Minsk, the issues of the POWs exchange were discussed again. Representatives of the Ukrainian side still do not change their position, refusing to include in the exchange list 11 persons accused of gravest crimes or those convicted under relevant articles, and 47 people who are allegedly irrelevant to the so-called “ATO”.

We insist on the inclusion of these people on the lists. For the umpteenth time I called on not to categorize persons kept on the territory of Ukraine. As soon as Kiev representatives include the above mentioned persons in the exchange list, our side will immediately start the exchange in compliance with Minsk agreements, which, as I have repeatedly noted, do not prescribe any division into so-called “categories”, and provide for the exchange under the formula “all confirmed for all confirmed”.
