The today’s meeting of the Humanitarian Subgroup of the Trilateral Working Group on peaceful settlement in Donbass was focused on harmonising lists of detainees. The position of Ukraine regarding the procedural “clearance” of detainees is still not clear.
Organising the transfer of Yulia Prosolova from a penitentiary in Western Ukraine to continue serving her sentence in Kharkiv remains a major concern. The transfer is needed due to well-founded fears over her health state, as well as to allow Yulia’s relatives regularly visit her. The Ukrainian side assured that it will do everything possible to promptly resolve the issue and justified the delay by legal and technical reasons.
At the meeting, the issue of organizing a joint search for missing persons was also discussed. The discussion will continue at the next meeting.
