7686 persons have been registered as temporary displaced persons since the beginning of the conflict, including 1917 children under the age of eighteen. For such a category of citizens, 63 temporary settlements have been opened in the territory of DPR, including the one in Sedovo that was put into operation in the reporting period.
During the period of work between 22 February and 1 March 2018, 33 persons have applied to the Ombudsman’s Office on the issues related to internally displaced persons. Referrals for temporary accommodation were given to 6 of them. Currently, 1225 individuals live in the Temporary Accommodation Centres of the Ombudsman Office, including 224 underage children.
We recall, since the beginning of the military conflict, 5354 referrals for Temporary Accommodation Centres of the Ombudsman Office were issued. 111 of them – in 2018.
