The range of topical issues in the field of human rights protection during the transitional period on the territory of the Republic was discussed during a working meeting with Senator of the Russian Federation Natalia Nikonorova.
In particular, the features of the integration of the DPR into the Russian legal field and the difficulties that arise in connection with this were discussed. Also, special attention was paid to the topic of implementing social support measures for mobilized citizens and their families. The issue of providing compensation to persons who suffered as a result of the armed aggression of Ukraine before the start of the SMO was raised.
I thank Mrs Senator for a productive dialogue and attention to the existing problems. For its part, the human rights institution of the Republic is ready to provide maximum assistance in resolving existing problematic issues. I am sure that any difficulties can be overcome if you do not keep silent about them and look for a way out of the situation.
