As a result of the exchange of prisoners between the Russian Federation and Ukraine, which took place on June 11, 94 Russian servicemen were returned home. 13 of them are defenders of the Donetsk People’s Republic. It should be noted, that two of our guys spent more than a year in Ukrainian dungeons. One of these men is a student, who was called to the front during mobilization.
Now, all fighters, who came back, are in safe hands of Russian medics. They are provided with the necessary assistance. As soon as the doctors allow, we will transfer our guys to the territory of the Republic.
I am sincerely glad that they will meet with their families soon. I express my gratitude to the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and everyone who contributes to the tough work to free the participants of the special operation who were taken prisoner.
