We continue to work to help children affected by hostilities. Summer is a period when there are even more opportunities for our children to improve their health, and it is important to use them to the maximum. Today, a group of 30 children was sent to Crimea for medical, psychological and pedagogical rehabilitation, being accompanied by ten adults, including a health worker and a teacher. These are minor residents of Donetsk, Gorlovka, Makeyevka, Torez, who were injured and experienced psychological upheavals during the war.
For two weeks, the guys will have a rest on the basis of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Clinical sanatorium for children and children with parents” Zdravnitsa” on the Black Sea coast in Yevpatoriya. Here, for each young patient, doctors will select an individual plan of treatment and rehabilitation procedures. The sanatorium also provides cultural and entertainment events and active recreation.
I am sure that our children will receive high-quality medical care, and a change of scenery contributes to emotional recreation.
I am sincerely grateful to the team of autonomous non-profit organization “Strana 7ya”, in cooperation with which this initiative is being implemented. Also, I’d like to express my gratitude to the philanthropist, who covered the costs associated with logistics and payment for vouchers. We have plans to continue interaction and to develop a rehabilitation program. Already now we are compiling a list of children and families who will go to the Evpatoria “Zdravnitsa” in July.
