In order to protect the human right to life and personal safety, and to help people affected by the armed aggression by Ukraine, Temporary Accommodation Centres (TACs) were opened in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Currently, 1219 displaced persons live in Temporary Accommodation Centres of the Ombudsman Office, including 221 children.
Between 10 and 16 February 2018, 24 persons have applied to the Ombudsman’s Office on the issues related to displaced persons; referrals to TACs have been issued for 4 of them.
To be reminded, people who need temporary accommodation can apply to the Ombudsman Office to receive the referral.
